All questions
What can I rent when a walk-in cooler or freezer breaks down?
You can rent a refrigerated trailer in 12 ft or 20 ft sizes, or a 20 ft or 40 ft refrigerated container. Trailers come to your site ready to be powered, and containers give you bulk cold storage for longer projects. Tell us what failed and we will point you to the right unit.
How fast can I get a refrigeration rental?
Call (888) 385-5513 any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Availability and delivery depend on your location and what is on hand, so we confirm both when you call and put them in your quote. An inquiry does not reserve equipment.
Do you rent walk-in freezers as well as coolers?
Yes. Our 20 ft refrigerated trailers are listed in a 32°F cooler configuration and a low-temperature freezer configuration at -5°F, plus a 15°F medium-temperature configuration. Tell us the temperature your product needs.
What power does a refrigerated trailer need?
The 20 ft trailers list a 220V, single-phase requirement of 40 to 60 amps, with a NEMA plug. Confirm the power available at your site when you request a quote so we can plan the connection.
How long can I rent a refrigerated trailer or container?
Rentals run by the week or by the month, with short-term options for repairs and long-term leasing for renovations and seasonal peaks. Our price sheet prints rates for 1-6 days, 8-14 days, 15 days to 1 month, and more than 3 months.
Do you also rent mobile kitchens and dishwashing trailers?
Yes. When a kitchen is down, we rent mobile kitchens and commercial dishwashing trailers, so you can cook, serve, and clean up while the permanent equipment is repaired or replaced.
Who rents from you?
We rent to commercial and industrial customers: hospitals, nursing homes, schools, restaurants, hotels, grocers, food distributors, correctional facilities, and government agencies. We do not rent to residential customers.
How is the price decided?
Your price depends on the unit, the length of the rental, and your price tier. We print our rates by rental length on the rental prices page. Delivery, setup, servicing, and minimum terms are confirmed in your quote.
How much room does a refrigerated trailer need?
A 12 ft or 20 ft trailer needs a level, firm spot with room for the trailer and its door to swing open, plus access for the delivery truck. Send us the surface type and any gate or door widths and we will confirm fit.
Who connects the power?
A qualified electrician should confirm and connect power at your site. We tell you the unit's electrical requirement so your electrician can plan ahead of delivery.
Do I need a ramp or stairs?
If the door sits above grade, a ramp or stairs makes loading safer. Setup time adds 4 to 6 hours for a ramp and 5 to 15 minutes for stairs.
Can the unit go on grass or gravel?
A firm, level surface is best. Tell us the surface and recent weather, and we will advise on placement.
Why do some units show a range?
Some rows on our price sheet print a range, such as $1,895 to $2,195 for a long rental. We print the range as it appears and confirm the exact rate in your quote.
What does Tier 1 or Tiers 2-4 mean?
Our price sheet lists a row for Tier 1 and a row for Tiers 2-4. The tier that applies to you is confirmed when we prepare your quote.
Are delivery and setup included in these prices?
The price sheet does not say. Delivery, setup, servicing, and minimum terms are confirmed in your quote, so ask for them in writing.
Why does a card say Starting from $X / month?
A card shows the lowest figure printed in the 15 days to 1 month and more than 3 months columns for that unit. The unit page shows every column.
What size mobile kitchen do I need?
It depends on the menu and meal count. Our mobile kitchens run from 24 ft to 40 ft, and larger units add equipment such as a deep fryer, a tilting skillet, or a walk-in cooler. Tell us what you cook and how many you serve.
What power does a mobile kitchen need?
The supplied descriptions list 220V single-phase service from 200 to 220 amps, depending on the unit. We confirm the actual unit and configuration in the quote.
Can I pair a kitchen with a refrigeration trailer?
Yes. Many customers rent a mobile kitchen with a refrigerated trailer and a dishwashing trailer so a facility can keep serving during a renovation or repair.
What is the difference between low-temperature and high-temperature dishwashing?
A low-temperature dishwasher sanitizes with a chemical rinse, and a high-temperature dishwasher sanitizes with hot water. Check which type your local health department requires.
What power does a dishwashing trailer need?
The supplied descriptions list 220V service. Single-phase units range from 150 to 300 amps, and the 30 ft conveyor trailer lists 3-phase, 200 amps. We confirm the actual configuration in the quote.
Can I rent a dishwashing trailer with a mobile kitchen?
Yes. A kitchen without dishwashing cannot run for long, so many customers rent both, and add a refrigeration trailer for cold storage.
